City Developing Smyrna Small Business Toolkit to Support Local Entrepreneurs

The City of Smyrna plans to develop a Smyrna Small Business Toolkit to assist local entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The toolkit will include resources and guidance for anyone looking to start their own business. It will also offer resources to help existing small businesses grow stronger and expand.

Resources will include guides on the necessary licenses for operating in Smyrna, Cobb, and Georgia.

The City has worked to provide this information on the website for years. This new approach is meant to update and expand the information in order to make the paperwork process even easier.

The Smyrna Small Business Toolkit will be maintained by the Community Development Department which includes our Economic Development team.

If you have any recommended resources, please feel free to email the information to MRuppersburg@SmyrnaGA.gov.

About Strategic Vision Plan

Smyrna's Strategic Vision Plan represents the goals and values of the community. It lays out specific initiatives as well as broad goals that the city should work toward. The original 2014 plan identified 52 initiatives to pursue over 10 years. The city's vision plan has been further updated by the Comprehensive Plan adopted in October 2017 which lays out a 25-year vision.
