We are so glad that you are interested in getting involved in the implementation of Smyrna’s Strategic Vision Plan!

There are a number of ways to get involved. The first step is tuning in to our updates and the second is contacting us to find how to get plugged in.

Step One: Tune In

  1. Follow us on Facebook for the most frequent updates on social media.
  2. Sign up for the Vision Plan newsletter below to get updates via email:

Which of these focus areas interest you most?

Please also continue to visit this website. We will update projects as things progress.

Step Two: Show Up

We will have periodic events from month to month with opportunities to volunteer or provide your feedback and input. Pay attention to the Facebook page to get the most recent updates and check out the website as well for articles about what’s going on.

The best way to get involved is just that – get involved! Come to a meeting and offer your ideas, look for an event or issue you care about, volunteer for a project when we put out a request, and if you still don’t see what you’re looking for…

Step Three: Reach Out

There is always room for new ideas! We may have something in the works or something on the cutting board that we haven’t been ready to tackle yet, or we may not have thought about it at all.

Reach out via email and start a conversation with us and we can see where your passions and skill set can fit in to help support the Strategic Vision. We are frequently humbled by our talented residents and how eager you are to give back to the community.

Contact the City

Think about the issues, areas, and projects that you’re most interested in and reach out to us so we can discuss how and where you can get involved.

It will depend upon your interests, how you want to help, and the current status of various projects and initiatives.  Our community has so many talented and passionate residents and we want anyone who wants to get involved to have the opportunity to do so!

You can also reach out directly to the City’s Special Projects Coordinator:
